Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific Pty Ltd have recently completed a fourteen month network strategy project investigating the optimal future spare parts distribution structure. SIECAP Project Management and Advisory assisted in the process by reviewing the current supply chain, scoping an improved, more productive and efficient ‘to-be’ solution, engaging with the dealer network and candidate third party logistics (3PL) providers. As a result Mercedes-Benz Australia have unlocked significant contract savings while at the same time realising vast technological, service and capacity improvements.
