Siecap Appoints Top Agribusiness Specialist

Leading project management and advisory firm Siecap has welcomed highly esteemed agribusiness expert John Storie to its team.

Mr Storie is a veteran agribusiness and finance consultant, armed with more than 30 years of industry experience across the banking, finance, and business management consulting and property management sectors.

In addition, he holds qualifications in commodity futures trading, a Master of Commerce and Graduate Diploma of Commerce from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of New England.

His specialist areas include agribusiness asset acquisition and management, corporate and non-corporate finance restructuring, risk management – interest rates, currencies and commodities, commodity marketing and trading and more.

Having run his own company Storie Agribusiness since 2002, the agriculture expert also has a great depth of expertise in the grazing and cropping industries.

Mr Storie will offer Siecap clients full agribusiness advisory services, covering all aspects of business management. This will include project due diligence and transaction support; project strategy and feasibility studies; asset acquisition and portfolio management; project execution and implementation and cost optimisation and performance improvement.
