David is the CEO at Siecap and has over 20 years’ technical experience as a business improvement and supply chain expert. David has undertaken a number of strategic design projects focusing on optimisation and integration. His technical qualifications include engineering and design solutions for large complex projects, from detailed design and board-level approval through to full implementation. Clients David has worked with include Qantas, Super Retail Group, Downer, BHP, Rio Tinto, Caltex, Thiess, Wesfarmers, Energex, Origin Energy and AGL.

Tim is the former President and Chief Operating Officer at BHP Billiton’s West Australian Iron Ore business and previously held senior positions in BHP Billiton’s manganese and metallurgical coal divisions. He was COO of Gloucester Coal, an ASX-listed diversified coal company producing around 5Mt pa of coal. Tim’s most recent position was as Executive Chairman of Trans Tasman Resources, a development seabed mining and exploration company headquartered in Wellington, New Zealand.

John has over 35 years’ experience in major and mega project development, which includes executive roles with oil and mining multinationals, as well as mid-tier and startup energy companies. John has been certified as a Practising Project Manager (CPPM) and has a thorough understanding of the theory and application of the entire project management lifecycle. He has spent many years in energy and mining developments across Africa, Southeast Asia and Australasia, holding a range of director, project manager and general manager positions.

Richard has over 15 years’ professional experience in the energy and resources sector specialising in capital procurement processes, feasibility studies, legislative compliance policy & procedures and supply strategy and implementation. He has successfully led and delivered projects in Australia and North Africa for Caltex, BHP Singtel Optus, Crosslands Resources (a Mitsubishi Corporation Company), Lion Ore, Barrick Gold and Celamin Ltd.

Shawn has over 30 years of heavy industry experience leading projects, operations and business improvement efforts in New Zealand, Australia, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. As a professional engineer and experienced project director, Shawn has a depth of experience in design, operations and project management, all associated with the improvement, management and development of major industrial plant and operations.
