The Background

Asia Pacific region of a global OEM organisation has various sales and distribution regions in India, Indonesia, China, Malaysia and Australia with major internal manufacturing based in India, Australia and Malaysia. The organisation with in the region historically operated as independent businesses and the supply chain that was formed by evolution rather than strategy. The business was looking for a broader regional solution and asked Siecap to assist in developing an approach for a regional supply and distribution strategy.
